Self-management an alternative to business management
Are you looking to an alternative to the patriarchal management that exist nowadays. Well Self-management could be an interesting one for you. It can be explained as follow: Employees are trusted to manage their work alone and to take decisions based on the advice process. In addition, there are no more managers to overview the way people work which gives them freedom to achieve their goals on their own way. Self-management already exist in many companies but will this work for yours?
Do you think we could work in a different way if employees were trusted and given more responsibilities? Then you will enjoy our discussion on Frederic Laloux's book (reinventing organizations). He wrote his findings on organizations that are working with a different mindset.
In this round table Anne-Cécile Graber will expose the principle of self-management. In addition, she will invite you to reflect on it as a group. Is it possible to (re)build companies with a sense of purpose and respect?
In order to facilitate the discussion we will first introduce ourselves and have a quick persentation about self-management in companies. The presentation will be based on the book written by Frederic Laloux (reinventing organizations). Finally, we will start a discussion based on a few question prepared in advance to facilitate the exchange.
